David "Daveyzz" Marley won the second leg of the 2009-10 Sky Poker Tour at Newcastle's Aspers Casino on Saturday 9th January, beating David "Raffles" Evans, into second place. David beat 149 other players, who qualified on www.skypoker.com for as little as £5.20, to the first prize of £4,000 and also wins a seat into next September's SPT Grand final at DTD.

Devayzz's key hand was when he was all-in versus JohnPick with five players remaining with Pocket Nines against Pocket Jacks and his tournament life at stake. A miraculous Queen-Nine-Nine flop gave him Quads, doubled his stack up and from that point on he secured victory. On the final hand he took second pair and an up-and-down straight draw against Raffles' flopped top pair, and rivered a straight to win the tournament.
