The Sky Poker UK Tour - Leg 3 - Edinburgh

Leg 3 of The Sky Poker UK Tour took place on Saturday 31st January at the Gala Casino, Edinburgh. Over 100 players sat down at the tables on the day all competing for their share of the £6,500 prize pool.
Edinburgh hosted the first tour date of 2009 and what a great start it was. The Sky Poker team were on hand with Michelle Orpe, Richard Orford and Norman Pace welcoming the players and running some early tutorials at the tables before the tournament started giving some top tips and advice on their game play.
Tony ‘Tikay’ Kendall started the proceedings at 2pm and we were soon deep into the tournament with excitement and tension in the air. |

We saw some fantastic poker played in Edinburgh with the 1st place prize money and trophy being taken by local poker player William Stafford (babyboy08) who played well throughout the tournament to secure his place in the final leg of the tour in June.
The prize pool was paid out to the top 20, with the top 10 also winning a seat in the Sky Poker UK Tour final worth £220.00.
