Sky Poker is celebrating its second Jackpot winner this week after ‘alan1506’ won both the Primo and Mini Primo on Sunday 22nd January to scoop the £6,800 jackpot prize.

Alan1506 – real name Alan Jenkins – is only the second man to have won the Sky Poker Jackpot and interesting it’s now a Welsh double. Jenkins hails from Pontrhydyrun, while Dylan Davies (‘dylan12’) won the Jackpot back in September from his home in Llandysul. Does this prove the Welsh are the best tournament players in the UK? It will certainly be a talking point on Sky in the coming weeks!

Alan won £405 for taking down the Mini Primo, while the first prize for the Primo itself was an impressive £3415.50. Those winnings partnered by the £6,800 Jackpot meant the Welshman won just over £10,620 for an evening’s work!

Once again the Sky Poker Community was delighted by the win, with Alan a member of the ‘Team 51’ community team. It was also brilliantly timed, seeing out Sky Poker TV’s stint in their current studios ahead of their move to the all-new facilities from 4th February.

Here’s a small selection of the comments and congratulations from the Sky Poker Community:

“Great result mate. What a night to do it. On a Sunday when it’s the Primo is the best result possible I think. Maximised the pay out as a sweetener. Another milestone reached by Team 51 and let’s hope it continues. “ – shaun84

“The Jackpot has gone to Wales again, both winners so far are from that part of the world. England, Scotland and Ireland have got some catching up to do. My money is on Daiboot to take it down next.” – GaryQQQ

“Very well done – that is fantastic! Gives us all hope…” – rancid

“The best action and most railers seen on 2 final tables - very well done Alan.” – bigal36903

Those who want to become the third player to win the Sky Poker Jackpot need not worry – the Jackpot has been reset to £5,000 and an additional £100 will be added for every week it goes unclaimed. To win it all you have to do is the win the 8pm Main Event and its sibling ‘Mini Main’ at 8.15pm on skypoker.com. Those who win the Main and make the final table of the Mini will be given a £1,000 Consolation Prize for their efforts.

All of the details can be found on the Sky Poker Jackpot promotion page.

Good luck!
