10 days of UKOPS action climaxed last night, with the highlight being the Main Event which attracted 472 entrants and a £47,200 prize pool. Ok, let's look at the details.

UKOPS 40 | 7pm, £22 entry, £3,000 Rebuy - Ronto620

The opener maintained its 100% record for beating the guarantee, and at £6,380, this one came in at more than double. A £22 MTT at 7pm seems to suit the Sky Poker massive.

A surprise winner here in Ronto620 who had shown only modest form until now, but who won this deservedly. Rather like when Snow Knight won the Epsom Derby in 1974 at 50/1, and went on to become a very good horse indeed, Ronto620 might just be top class. Either way, he has £1,786 in his pocket this morning.

MUZOWNED just missed out on a spectacular treble, having won the closing UKOPS event on both Friday and Saturday, but he came up one short here.

5th and 6th respectively were the veteran Sir-Gary and young jordz16. I sound like a broken record describing albania as "consistent", but he is, and a 7th place here put him on the way to 5 final tables and 8 top 10 finishes. The_Reflex, one of only 2 players to play all 42 UKOPS XVII events (the other was Melty), was 10th and "I caught a whopper" GlencoeLad was 13th.

UKOPS 41 | 8pm, £110 entry, £40,000 Freezeout - M0n3yMan

The Main Event, with an ambitious £40,000 guarantee romped over the line, attracting a record breaking 472 runners and £47,200 prize pool. I'm struggling to recall a bigger MTT prize pool on Sky Poker, or a bigger winner's cheque.

Perhaps appropriately, the £11,564 first prize went to M0n3yMan, who was a dual winner, having won Friday's 7pm Rebuy. As the old saying goes, money goes to M0n3y.

Newcomer Amy0408 scooped almost £6,500 in 2nd. somepunter, more usually seen playing £100 and £200 Heads Up games on Sky Poker, ran 3rd, and in 5th was IRONZ who has been getting the lot on Sky Poker since back in 2008, and must have at least 8 four figure wins to his credit. In 6th, for over £2,000, was 5ausages. It's how he rolls.

SkootaT was 8th, with danTB10 and Tatopagoa, both just home from Punta Cana, in 17th and 18th. Need I mention that albania cashed?

UKOPS 42 | 9pm, £22 entry, £5,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter - kalin68

Next up was a £5,000 Bounty Hunter, which featured kalin68 as the winner and kawamattyz occupying 1st and 2nd.

Forum favourite and occasional diary writer Lambert180, just back from a poker sabbatical, collected £400 in third, with young Larson7, who is extremely Scottish and has a diary entitled "9highlikeaboss" was 5th. Eat yer heart out Will Kassouf.

Honourable mentions go to CxE1 (8th), jubb (12th) and the ever loyal long term Sky Poker supporter EASYFIX (23rd).

UKOPS 43 | 10pm, £55 entry, £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter - GregUK

If you have been paying attention to these blogs, you won't be surprised to know that the £55 Turbo Bounty Hunter which closed proceedings sauntered past its guarantee, coming in at £5,350 on this occasion, 30% above guarantee.

GregUK took the honours, and deservedly, this player puts in a tonne of MTT volume here, and the £1,100 he collected here can be added to the £2,200 he pocketed after finishing 2nd in Tuesday's UKOPS Main Event.

SenorBegs was 2nd, The_Reflex 6th, and in 5th place it was albania, (10 letters beginning with "c"). Sneddy, dantb10 and DivsDreams were 7th, 8th and 9th, just ahead of lyonsbob06 and Granite89.

The UKOPS XVII party is over - or is it?

So that concludes the main Sky Poker UKOPS XVII, but don't go away, as for the first time ever, Sky Poker are running a Mini UKOPS. Buy-ins start at £2.20, with the biggest at £11.

It will also have a £2,500 Mini UKOPS Total Player Leaderboard with £500 to the winner and place money down to 50th spot.

Tonight sees £6,500 of guarantees, and 4 events, and the schedule looks like this:

Mini UKOPS 01 | £500 Bounty Hunter

Mini UKOPS 02 | £1,500 Bounty Hunter

Mini UKOPS 03 | £3,000 Bounty Hunter

Mini UKOPS 04 | £1,500 Bounty Hunter
