Leaderboard Battle Develops between Markycash and Kevilfish

7pm - UKOPS 13, £3,000 Bounty Hunter, 208 runners, beat guarantee by 39%

A healthy 200+ hopefuls lined up for the first event on the card, which happened to be Event 13, on the 13th April.

Lucky for some, maybe, but JUSTMUFC, sitting 5th on the Total Player Leaderboard after Day 2, was busto almost before it began in 205th place. Maybe he wanted to watch his team beat Anderlecht in the Europa League. An early goal put Man U ahead, but then that went wrong, too. Some days it's not meant to be.

devil_tear was another who departed the scene of the crime with undue haste in 202nd place.

Our winner was leoafc, who has been with Sky Poker 9 long years without ever recording a win much in excess of £110. Suddenly, his Sharky graph has gone vertical, and he or she has a £700 win to their credit. Lovely job.

Runner-up was the class act KickaStink, who boasts an ROI on Sky Poker MTT's in excess of 100%, which takes a bit of doing.

TTayseer was next, followed by rudders602, Wiked and longjob, with final table bubble boy Curt360x27.

MattBates, who has had a thin time of it so far in UKOPS XIX was 9th, just ahead of MilitantG.

In 15th place was 5ausages, who collected around £50, barely enough to make ends meat.

7:30pm - UKOPS 14, £1,000 PLO8, 72 runners, beat guarantee by 44%

The impressively aggressive SkootaT looked the winner a long way home in this, and made no mistake on his way to his 2nd UKOPS win in less than 4 months.

Was delighted to see some good friends & PLO8 regulars final table - Whizzewky (2nd), jascham 3rd, eon1961 (5th), and, miraculously, Hendo-Lad in 6th. It was Hendo-Lad's first cash on Sky Poker in 139,842 attempts - well done him.

devil-tear bounced back to form in 8th place, and there was a min cash for Tennis Bloke Enut who was beaten by 2 sets.

Meanwhile, I confess I was glad I never had to make mention of the 2 players who finished 64th and 68th. What were they thinking?

8pm - UKOPS 15, £15,000 Bounty Hunter, 161 runners, beat guarantee by 7%

This was the night's Main Event, and brows will be furrowed in Sky Towers after it barely covered guarantee, as UKOPS XIX still has 4 days to go, and that will be followed by 6 days of Mini UKOPS. Maybe just a blip, we shall see.

First prize, which was in excess of £3,300, went to BIGPETT07, showing vastly improved form, as his best cash until last night was less than £100. Gotta love poker, eh?

Runner-up gaming123 also enjoyed a best ever cash, though has only been on Sky Poker 3 weeks. In third place was the class act gadgerno1 who has won everything worth winning on Sky Poker, including several Sunday Rollers. Fat5tack5 and NINAA were 4th and 5th, with Melty, aka Chicknmelt, making his 2nd cash of UKOPS XIX, after collecting a few bob in Wednesday's Rebuy Main Event.

JUSTMUFC bounced back to form in 9th place to enhance his Total Player Leaderboard claims, Granite89 was 13th, whilst Norwich City fan lovejunky was 14th, just failing to emulate his team who currently sit 10th in the Sky Bet Championship.

Finally, in 12th place, I spotted zit.

8:30pm - UKOPS 16, £2,500 Bounty Hunter, 638 runners, beat guarantee by 28%

This was, in effect, a re-badged Mini, so any worries about this one making the guarantee were soon laid to rest, and a whopping 638 runners lined up.

This was easily my favourite result of the night. The winner has been with Sky Poker 5 long years and has never won more than £10 in an MTT here - and suddenly beats over 600 entrants to collect £470. Well done BEZ86, I just love results like this.

horsebox was 2nd, IDONKCALLU 3rd, with Han94x, phillips58 and badbitch completing the final six.

Must make quick mention of conorshay1, in 11th place. This young man won the 7.30pm Freeroll on consecutive nights earlier this week, which takes a bit of doing. Well done Conor, keep it going mate.

9pm - UKOPS 17, £5,000 Rebuy, 134 runners, beat guarantee by 29%

This went to Haydenx37, who was 3rd in the previous night's £4,000 Turbo BH, so he's making a run at the Total Player Leaderboard.

A real high class final table this, as is so often the case with Rebuys, as Hayden was followed home by devil_tear, the rejuvenated Scotty77, Brighton fan I8HPALACE and jawzindawz. In 6th place there was a nice bonus for brucey93.

KickaStink, 2nd in the night's opener, followed up with 7th here, and SkootaT who won the PLO8 earlier was 13th.

Quite a battle is developing in the Total Player Leaderboard, as the 1st and 2nd after Day Two - Markycash and Kevilfish - both cashed in this, in 15th and 11th respectively. It would be the best thing ever if one of our players turned their Total Player Leaderboard prize into a Viva Las Vegas package. Good luck lads, you can do it.

10pm - UKOPS 18, £4,000 Turbo Bounty Hunter, 94 runners, beat guarantee by 18%

Dumbmo must like this format - he won tonight's closer, after finishing 12th in the same event 2 nights earlier.

After I mentioned the developing Total Player Leaderboard battle between Markycash and Kevilfish in the previous event, both boys were in action again, and remarkably both final tabled this, with markycash edging it this time for £600+, with Kevilfish in 6th place. I fancy these two boys are going to have a battle royal between now and Monday.

Hotwheals was 9th, his 2nd cash of the series, and Melty was 13th.

Total Player Leaderboard

After Day Two, the top 6 were markycash, Kevilfish, RAKKKI, ozzieowen, JUSTMUFC and OMEN69, with Curt360x27 and Haydenx37, both of whom added to their tally today, close up.

The Day 3 Leaderboard should be updated later today - don't forget to check it out before play commences again at 7pm this evening.
